Trever is in need of lots of prayers and a miracle

My 3 yr old Nephew, God bless him.

Now for my nephew Trever, I haven't posted about him in a while because he was doing ok. Well Tuesday he ended up getting a bacterial pneumonia which now has caused his mono to flare up and was rushed to ICU 3am this morning. They have put him in a drug induced coma, respirator and say it is in Gods hands now and are praying he will make it to Sunday.  Please please keep him in your prayers and my little sister as well they need all the love and support they can get.


The neurology team stopped by. They think that he may have a little lesion on his right side. So they are thinking they would like to do an angiagram to see if there is any blockage causing this or if there is a flow problem. So how they explained it to me was the veins in the brain are like a sprinkler system. You have a main hose that branches off into little sprinkler heads and sometimes dirt or debris get in there and block of a set of sprinkler heads and this will cause other sprinkler heads down the line from it not to receive flow causing that section to die and be damaged. Or there could be something constricting the main hose causing flow not to get to the end of the line on both sides and again the same end result. It is suspected that the main artery to the brain is being constricted and causing damage on both sides. They found something suspicious on the right side after having the EEG video and going back and looking at the MRI. The spot on the right side doesn't jump out at you like the left side. So we will be coming back in about 2 weeks to meet a stroke specialist and maybe doing that procedure. They suspect that the keppra is not working and may look into changing his meds. They did send us home with some rescue medicine called versed. We would only give it to him if his seizures last 5 minutes and after the medicine if he is still seizing after five more minutes then we would need to call ems. Scary to think about but at least we now have some meds to give him and a seizure action plan. 

Trever's 2nd Transplant

So this is Trever. I love this little guy so much he has only been here for such a short time but has stolen a piece of my heart. Today my heart is aching for him. I am with Krystal I wish I could take his pain for him and hold him so tight. I can't quit crying today knowing the pain that he is going through. I wish I was able to be there for him. 

He is having his 2nd bone marrow transplant today. He is in a lot of pain, but they have given him a morphine drip. He is the toughest person I have met. He is the cutest little boy ever!!! He is only 3 years old and my little Emmett who is 18 months has already out grown him. Please keep him in your prayers today. Thank you everyone for your love and support. I love you Trever and Krystal Hang in there.

family update

Wow I can't believe its been 2 months since my last family update. So we have been a little busy as our summer has wound down to an end. Its been nice having the boys back in school, finally back to a some what routine. They are doing awesome on there work, it's amazing how much they learn and how fast they absorb it. Jordan is finally finishing his last BMX race next Saturday.
Brendan is getting pretty good at his reading. He also is growing like a weed. He's almost as tall as Jordan.
Sage well she is so moody and sassy. Some days I don't know what to do with her. We do have fun together too.
Little Emmett isn't so little anymore. He has mastered walking and is trying the running thing. It is too funny to see those short stubby legs move. He always has bumps and bruises on his head from toppling over. He is such a clown. He keeps us all fully entertained. The other day he climbed on the table and spilled some water trying to drink from the glass. He was still thirsty so he tried lapping it up like a dog. That was the funniest thing to watch. If I would've had my video camera handy I totally would've won the $10,000 on AFV. So as you can tell from that story he is such a climber. He still eats everything off the floor. Maybe I should just put his plate on the floor since he won't eat anything I give him. We have had to take him to the ER and call poison control also. He is a fast little booger.
Chris and I are doing well too. He's busy with work and hunting season is coming so hopefully he makes it out, otherwise he tends to get a little grumpy.
I have been trying to work out at 6am and man I am so not a morning person. But hopefully it will pay off. So far nothing yet which is way frustrating. I also have been selling some Tupperware so I can have a little extra play money plus buy some Tupperware for storage. So anyone interested in hosting a party give me a hollar and I would love to hook you up with some sweet gifts. That's it for now.
Oh I almost forgot to tell you about Tom. Well he is our Thanksgiving dinner and doesn't he look tasty. We have told the kids from the beginning and the boys are all excited but Sage she is a little unsure. The boys are always teasing her that we are eating Tom whenever we have chicken and she gets so disgusted. It's kind of funny but I reassure her that it's not Thanksgiving yet and Tom is fine. Hopefully she will be okay with it so we don't traumatize her.

Bone marrow drive for Trever

I will be hosting a bone marrow drive for Trever in Idaho Falls Saturday September 11th at Hilcrest High School from 9am-12pm.I need 12 volunteers to help out with cheek swabbing and filling out the forms. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know. Without the transplant he has until Christmas at best. Please help spread the word. I have posted it on facebook so please copy and paste it to help me spread the word.

Yesterday I found out that my sweet little nephew will need a bone marrow transplant. He has inactive T cells and the only way to get them active is to have the transplant done. The Dr. did say he could continue with what he is doing and this may mask his illness but he will not grow because of the steroids that he is on and wont get better. So eventually they would try to put him on a growth hormone and this could cause a reaction and damage his little body and make his meds quit working. Or he could get immuned to his current meds and have to try other ones, but by not doing the bone marrow transplant and continuing with the meds this would damage his body so bad that he would not be able to have the transplant. With the transplant you run the risk of the body rejecting the new bone marrow and killing his immune system and having a fatal result. He would have to undergo kemo and this could also have a risk of being fatal to him. My poor sister doesn't know what to do. The Dr. told her to research it online but that is a lot of reading and a lot of different answers. Please pray for our little Trever and if anyone has gone through a bone marrow transplant please let us know your experience and help her be able to decide what would be the best. I personally think the bone marrow transplant would be the way to go even with the risk because staying where he is now has no hope of curing him.
As you can see in his photos he goes from one extreme to the other with his weight. He loses weight fast and gets really scary and them he get so swollen and gains weight and has a hard time walking and huffs and is out of breathe with any activity. He is going to be 3 in September and is the size of my 8 month old. He has had numerous painful procedures and takes the most awful bitter tounge burning medicine. My heart just aches for this sweet little boy. Even through it all he is the sweetest most loving friendly little guy. He is so happy all the time and says the funniest things. I just love this kid so much and wish he didn't have to go through all of this.

So we made it home safe and sound from Washington. Emmet got his first tooth and is crawling like crazy also he can sit up all by himself. My little guy is growing so fast. I'm still trying to get caught up on all the lost sleep from our trip. Not to mention laundry and house work. blah when is the next vacation. lol. Hope you all are doing fabulous. Oh yeah and now Jordan and Sage think they need to get the stomach flu fun fun gotta love being a mom. Good thing they are so darn cute. Have a great week I know I will.

Safe n Sound

So I'm in Washington and made it safe and sound. I didn't even kill my dad and we actually had a nice drive. My niece's and nephew came runnin out to give me loves. We went to the movies and Camden and I we're sprayin everyone with our webs(well he was cuz I don't have real ones so he says). He is such a character with such a huge imagination. Sage and Bayleigh are connected at the hip Ashlynne got her heeley's and is so funny to watch. Makiah is such a doll and always wants me to hold her and she just loves Emmett and tickle's him(too cute).
Fun fun. Man I love kids they are such sweet little people. They make my heart warm their my light and sunshine. Sage is so funny she was tellin everyone that we had to pick up Grandpa Bill because he was riding(driving) us to Cherish's because we didn't know the way. Grandpa was teasing her about singin a silly song and he was singing it wrong and she would say " no grampa Bill thats how you don't sing it. She cracks me up. Emmett and her traveled so good not a cry wimper or whine the whole 9 hours.
